This mixtape is a project I've always been wanting to do. Though in formality I put my genre down as Singer-Songwriter, I never want to stick to one certain genre of music. This Alternative R&B mixtape though has definitely been different in the process that I usually make music. Though I went through an extraordinary amount of name ideas for this mixtape, I went with the name "They Say It's Photoshop." The reason I felt like going with this name is because when you say a phrase like that, it's usually to a picture that doesn't look real. Typically I see the music I usually write as not being that cool. This mixtape doesn't feel to me something I would've made a year ago so it feels in a sense "Photoshopped."

Big Guy, Porcupine, Gingerballs, Napoleon, Cookie, Lucky Charms, Max Goof, Baby Bop Brad, Thommy, Forman, and Lieu Ryan, for being hella good friends even though most of you didn't contribute anything musical, you contributed friendship.

A lot of songs on this album are about different girls. The girls either know, don't know, or probably will figure out it is about them. Just know I respect these girls and strongly want them to know my appreciation for being my muses in my songwriting.
