There are some songs that I love with the lyrics leading to only one point. Such songs as I Wanna Get Better by Bleachers, I Wanna Hold Your Hand by The Beatles, and Grand Romantic by Nate Reuss. These ideas were just a single line with the verses supporting the powerful one line chorus.

That was my inspiration behind this song. With the girl I wrote this song about, I always kept saying to myself "You know I'd be so good at loving you" all the time. After I knew that this is the point I wanted to come across when writing this song, the rest was just supporting the idea.

Supporting the chorus was easy. I knew exactly that she was the only reason I was sticking around where I was and how I want her to confidently know I'm serious about whatever we were.
